Born in France in 1995, Pierre Collard has always been driven by a passion for technology and innovation. His journey began in Toulouse, where he pursued a Master’s degree in Computer Science. During his academic career, he earned a prestigious opportunity to study at UCLA in Los Angeles. This international experience not only deepened his technical skills but also expanded his global perspective and adaptability—traits that would shape the rest of his career.

In 2018, Pierre relocated to Toronto, Canada, embracing both a new culture and a new chapter in his professional life. Over the past years, he has established himself as a respected cybersecurity and cloud expert, leading complex transformations for clients across North America and Europe. His early work in France and Canada included major infrastructure projects for public institutions and global luxury brands, such as the Ministry of Ecological Transition and LVMH Group.

Pierre’s career accelerated rapidly as he took on increasingly strategic roles. At Amazon Web Services (AWS), he served as a Partner Solutions Architect supporting national defense and federal agencies. He led the design of secure, resilient cloud environments aligned with the highest compliance standards (NIST, Protected-B and up to Secret level), and drove cloud adoption through modern Landing Zones and DevSecOps practices. His leadership in resilience and disaster recovery, along with his contributions to the AWS Resilience Hub program, earned him recognition as a global subject matter expert.

Currently based in Toronto, Pierre serves as a Principal Cloud Cybersecurity Consultant and MDR Product Manager at Sopra Steria North America. There, he leads the design and execution of secure cloud strategies, oversees an international Managed Detection & Response (MDR) and Threat Intelligence team, and spearheads innovation in SOC and MSSP services.

Pierre holds multiple industry-recognized certifications, including CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, CCIE, CEH, and ITIL. He is fluent in both English and French, and thrives in multicultural, fast-paced environments.
